Another first for Bowls Surrey

Surrey Area Two had their inaugural Mixed Match today Sunday 19th May at Egham. We were invited to play an early season friendly of five rinks on what was a lovely sunny day and were given a very warm welcome by everyone at Egham BC.

This was a special occasion for Area Two when we were able to play a mixed match with clubs throughout the area allowing players from Addlestone Victory Park, Byfleet, West Byfleet, Ottershaw, MidSurrey, Malden Manor, Ember and Southey to participate together as one team rather than against each other as in district competitions.
