Graham Paxton
It is with sadness that I must inform you of the death of our dear friend, colleague and Club member Graham Paxton.
Graham was a well known bowler far and wide in Surrey and a winner here at Purley Bury.
He passed away on Saturday 12th July after a long and hard struggle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Joan at this sad time.

Keith Atkins
It is with sadness that I must inform you of the death of Keith Atkins a long standing member of Cheam BC.
Keith passed away early this morning 6th July 2025 surrounded by his family.
Keith recently received the Leopard Award for his exceptional contribution to the club. He will be sorely missed.
I would ask you to respect the family's wish for time to mourn their loss."

Keith's funeral is 31st July, time 11.20 at N.E.Surrey Crematorium,. Lower Morden Lane, SM4 4NU and afterwards at Cheam Sports club

Please note the Chapel is quite small so many may not be able to fit in, and there are serious road works in Peaches Close, there should still be access to the Sports Club.
Al Roper
I am sorry to have to tell you that Al passed away earlier today. He had been unwell for some time and had been living in a home.
He played outdoors at Monotype Bowls Club and was a member at Donyngs before he became too ill to play a few years ago.
