Pat Morris
I am so sorry to have to pass on such incredibly sad news. Our longest serving member, Pat Morris passed away last night Friday 21st March at 10pm.
Pat held offices of Treasurer, Captain and Secretary at Chertsey BC. Not only was Pat very active in the bowling club he was also a very proficient bowler, being amongst some of the best county indoor bowlers.
A few years ago Pat was awarded the Leopard Award from Bowls Surrey, a highly sort after award, to recognise the long and distinguished service by a club member to their club. This was well deserved and I am told he was very touched by this gesture.
