Men's President's tour

Men's Presidents Tour 2025

I hope you are all having a great summer of bowling (rain or no rain!)

Although this year is not over yet, I am making some plans for the 2025 season.

Following my e-mail back in March regarding a Presidents Bowls Tour in 2025 I received a favourable response and have therefore been making enquiries regarding dates and availability for hotels, coaches and clubs.

The tour has now been provisionally booked as follows.

Dates: Sunday 14th- Friday 19th September 2025 inclusive (5 nights 6 days)

Location: Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish, Devon overlooking Lyme Bay

Included at hotel: Dinner, Bed, Breakfast, pre-dinner drink reception serving 1 glass beer, wine, sherry or soft drink (please note porterage is included, there is no lift)

Fixtures: 4 Fixtures to include tea/coffee and biscuits (venues still to be confirmed but proposed: Sidmouth, Ottery St Mary, Madeira- Exmouth and one other probably in Torquay)

Coach: Exclusive hire for duration of tour including travel to and from Devon and available throughout the tour for both bowlers and non bowlers (this will allow for those not bowling to visit the local area whilst others are playing)

Cost: £699 per person sharing (Please note: There will be a supplement of £21.25 for a single room)

Please also note that in order to secure the booking a £20 deposit per person is required no later than 20th October 2024 and is non refundable

In the first instance please respond to my secretary: linda.aburn@outlook.com, no later than 26th August, confirming your intention to join us. If we have sufficient numbers we will then email you with details of how to pay the deposit.

The balance of payment is required on July 1st 2025

Cancellation: Should you need to cancel between 20th October 2024 and 1st July 2025 no further payment would be required but you will lose your deposit. However, cancellation after 1st July 2025 will result in full payment being required.

I really hope you can join me on what I plan to make an enjoyable trip away.

 Kind regards

 Dave Aburn
